Digital Download License Terms

All digital downloads from Story Visual are licensed, not sold. By purchasing a digital download, you are purchasing a license to use the image under the terms described below. The photographer, Roger Ridpath, retains all copyright.

Personal Use License

Display on personal devices (desktop, phone, tablet). Personal home printing for private display. Display on digital frames and smart TVs (including Samsung The Frame) in your home. Use as a desktop or mobile wallpaper.

Not permitted: Any commercial, editorial, or promotional use. Resale or redistribution of the file. Sharing the file with others. Use in any product for sale.

Editorial Use License

Use in articles, blog posts, news publications, and educational content. Use in non-commercial presentations and reports. Photo credit required: Roger Ridpath / Story Visual.

Not permitted: Use in advertising or marketing materials. Use on merchandise or products for sale. Resale or redistribution of the file. Use without photo credit.

Note: Images containing recognizable individuals are provided without model releases. The licensee assumes all responsibility for any claims arising from the use of such images.

Commercial Use License (Royalty-Free)

Use in marketing materials, advertising, and commercial projects. Use in client work and commercial publications. Use in commercial presentations and reports. One-time purchase grants unlimited use within these terms.

Not permitted: Resale or redistribution of the file itself. Submission to stock photography libraries. Use as the primary element of a product for sale (posters, prints, merchandise). Sub-licensing to third parties.

General Terms

All licenses are non-exclusive and non-transferable. Maximum print reproduction size is limited by the resolution of the purchased file. Files may not be used in any defamatory, pornographic, or illegal context. Story Visual reserves the right to revoke any license in the event of a terms violation.
